Our flatbed die-cutters are made using laser technology. A pulsating laser beam is used for their manufacture, which guarantees the stable setting of the blade.
Laser technology in manufacturing cutting dies allows the time of the machine tool to be shortened and guarantees satisfaction with the die-cutting results.
The flatbed die-cutters are used for cutting out packaging from corrugated and solid boards as well as other materials like foil or foam. On top of this, owing to our tools, it is also possible to cut out complex shapes such as puzzles.
Our rotary die-cutters, just like our flatbed die-cutters, are manufactured using pulsating laser technology. Above all, they are applicable in the manufacturing of corrugated board packaging.
They are divided into two groups:
Partial rotary die-cutters,which serve the purpose of fragmentary cutting.
These are used most frequently at the final stage of the manufacture of packaging cut out on a slotter.
Full rotary die-cutters, which serve the purpose of cutting whole corrugated board packaging.
They are usually used for large-size multi-pack cardboard boxes.
The cutting dies are performed for all types of fixing on cylinders with the following diameters:
- Ø 270 mm
- Ø 360 mm
- Ø 487 mm
STRIPPING AND SEPARATING SECTIONS
The application of a cleaning section during die-cutting allows the sheet to be stripped of waste which remains between the blanks during the die-cutting process.
The complete stripping section consists of:
- an upper board
- a bottom board
- a guillotine and a counter-guillotine
A separating section used in parallel with die-cutting, is intended for the separation and stacking of the cut out packaging which comes out of the machines. The product may be used both for corrugated board and solid board.
Separating section includes:
- a wooden part (upper separator)
- a metal part (bottom separator)
The wooden part as well as the metal part with the burned out plywood, mounted sliding elements and the frame create the complete separating section, which is ready for being fixed directly on the machine.
Owing to the application of the separating section, we avoid the manual labour and time-consuming blank separation and stacking system.
Pertinaxes fulfill the role of creasing matrices. They are made in a specialist milling machine and are applied mainly during the manufacture of solid board packaging and corrugated board packaging. They can serve as an option for creasing channels.
We make sheets with milled creasing channels for high-circulation manufacturing.
Within the framework of the services provided by us, we can carry out test models on a 1:1 scale for you. We prepare these models on the basis of the documentation provided by the client or with the use of designs prepared by our department.
The models are cut out:
- from solid board
- corrugated board
- PP foil
- or any other type of material that may be sent to us by the client.
The design department of our company, provided with the most up-to-date equipment, gives us a huge competitive advantage. The modern design department can complete almost any order, even the most complicated ones.
Flexibility and perfection in the completion of projects are as equally important to us as the preparation of an original and functional design. This is taken care of by the design studio, whose employees, “armed” with advanced IMPACT CAD software, effectively combine the ingenuity of creation with the reality of top-quality manufacturing, as well as ARTIOS – thus shortening the time of design preparation and providing the possibility of its visualization with the application of graphics and the possibility of 3D visualization, with the added benefit of being able to make design modifications quickly. In order to check the stability of the design structure, it is possible to cut out the prototype of a packaging, box or stand etc. on the LASERCOMB plotter.
